Round 4 AZ Championship Series

This past Saturday, Scottsdale R/C Speedway (home of the Cactus Classic) hosted Round 4 of the Arizona Championship Series. For those who haven't attended this legendary facility, it isn't the normal 1/8th cookie cutter size track. Lap times are in the 22-25 second range, and there is a lot going on throught the course. However, the track still has a lot of passing room and makes for some great racing!

Qualifying:
In the Intermediate Buggy class, it was no different than the first three rounds. Cody Rothe once again put his 8ight 2.0 on top and took the TQ spot. This makes it a perfect 4 for 4 for Cody in qualifying for the series.

In the Expert Truggy class, I was able to capture the TQ spot with my 8ight-T while fellow Losi driver Casey Peck qualified 5th on the grid.

After 2 rounds of qualifying in the Expert Buggy class, I was able to put my 8ight 2.0 on top with fellow Losi drivers Mike Friery, Chris Wheeler, and Charles Hicks qualifying 4th, 6th, and 8th respectively. Privateer driver Dave Burt qualified 3rd with his new 8ight 2.0 as well.

Mains:
The Intermediate Buggy A-main, Cody Rothe once again ran away with the win finishing over a lap ahead of 2nd place. Now after 4 rounds, he has 4 TQ's and 3 wins! It will definitely be hard for the competition to catch him in the over-all points standings.

After the Expert Truggy A-main was said and done, I was able to capture the victory with fellow Losi driver Casey Peck finishing 4th.

Finally, in the Expert Buggy A-main event I was able to bring home the victory with Losi teammate Mike Friery finishing up in 2nd. Losi 8ight 2.0's were used to finish 1-2-4-5-6 in the 10 car main event!

As always, race director Kenny Brosh ran an awesome program and was able to get everybody done very early. A big thanks also goes out to the crew at SRS for hosting the race and keeping the track perfect throughout the day! The next series race is at The Nitro Pit on January 3rd, and everybody is welcome to attend (whether you're in the series or not)!

Hal's Hobbies Toys for Tots race

Hello all

This past weekend I traveled with my wife and kids to El Paso, TX for a Toys for Tots race. The event was hosted by Hal's Hobbies. Hal's has provided Texas with hobby goods for over 50 years. The current owners have been at it for 30 plus years and still have what it takes to be successful. It is a true family affair headed by Carlos Priemer, wife Gloria and son Charlie. Each playing a vital role in the day to day operations. They boast a true full line hobby shop that is completely stocked and ready for hobbyists and racers alike. (They also have the coolest bathroom in RC) Charlie recently built an awesome new offroad track and has helped grow a steady following of club racers.

The event that benefited the Toys for Tots and drew racers from all over the southwest. Racers from Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and even Mexico all came together to do battle on the loamy technical track. My buggy did not disappoint and I was able to take the top qualifying spot and the eventual win in the main. The Losi red "EBT" tire combo was a perfect choice for the bumpy, loamy track and gave me all the traction I needed. EBT is the nickname we have come up with for using XBT fronts and eclipse rear tires.

It was a pleasure to meet such a fine group of people who treated me like family. I can't wait for a chance to race down there again. Thanks go out to Charlie, and parents Carlos and Gloria for a great time.

Toys for Tots at Thunder Alley 12.6.08

This past weekend Team Losi Racing was in full force to race the Toys for Tots at Thunder Alley Raceway. A great race for an even better cause, children. The race bosted over 200 entries from drivers from all over California.

For the first time this year, their was a 1.8th Electric Offroad Class held at the event. Adam Drake, Kevin Gahan, and I all decided to race this new class with our decked out Team Losi Racing 8E's. After the dust settled, it was Team Losi Team Manager Kevin Gahan edging out Adam Drake for the TQ position. Definitely a great run for Kevin with Adam 2nd and I qualifed 4th overall. In the main it was Drake putting on a clinic with his Xcelorin powered 8IGHT-E, Barry Baker finished 2nd, I was 3rd, and Kevin Gahan was 4th giving Team Losi Racing 3 out of the top 4 positions. During the race it was evident that the Losi power package was awesome, we were the only vehicles that were able to clear the tremendous double to quad while our competitors were satisfied with double, double, double, which equated to about 3/4 of second a lap slower. For all of our power needs we all chose the Xcelorin 1700kv motor geared 44/15 with Losi 4S 5000mah battery. The main was 12 minutes long and there was no signs of dumping by any of the Losi team. It was really exciting to see 3 full heats of electric 1.8th at this race, 2 Buggy heats and 1 truggy heat. This just goes to show that 1.8th Electric is a growing class.

As for the Nitro Class, it was Truhe putting on a serious clinic during qualifying and then going on to edge out Tebo. Truhe exclusively used the new Team Losi Racing SmartDiff in his 8IGHT 2.0 to dominate qualifying and the main. I tested this quite a bit during practice. I can tell you that the SmartDiff offers a lot. More steering and tons of acceleration. Be sure to check out the SmartDiff which is set to be released late January of 2009.

Holidays and 2009 Season

Hello All,
The holiday season is quickly approaching! For some that means a bounty of new toys and for others an empty wallet. I will likely be the latter :) Seriously though I was thinking about getting more of the people around me into R/C and decided to do just that. My girlfriend is always interested to drive my cars but being that she is unexperienced I think I am going to start her off with a Losi Mini-T Pro. She can tear up our living room and get a better feel for r/c... without annihilating my race cars. My dad is an avid plane and helicopter fan so I am going to get him a E-Flite Blade CP Pro 2. Can't wait to see him flying it!

I was going over my electric race schedule for 2009 and these are the races I will be attending (hopefully more):
CRCRC Midwest Winter Champs, Rumble In The Rockies, Cactus Classic, April Fools Classic, Hot Rod Hobbies Shootout, ROAR Electric Nationals, Tumbleweed Classic, Reedy Truck Race, Hutchinson Fall Classic.
Also hoping to make it to some nitro races like Nitro Challenge and more.
Good luck to everyone racing in 2009!

Round Three of the Arizona Championship Series

Hello fellow Losi drivers

This past weekend I attended the 3rd round of the Arizona Championship Series hosted by the Nitro Pit. The Pit is such an awesome facility, and one that I love to race at. We are truly blessed to have a track of its caliber out here in Arizona!

After less than stellar finishes at rounds one and two, I needed to finish well this round of the series. Any more bad luck, and a chance of a podium overall finish would slip from my grasp.
If there's one thing I have learned from The Drake, Its to come to the track prepared. I worked hard during the week to make sure I had all of my ducks in a row, and was able to secure 2 TQ's and 2 wins. One with my trusty steed, the 8 2.0 buggy and one with the tried and true 8T.
Some may argue that the 8T is due for an upgrade, but mine was on rails and I was able to run the fastest lap times against the current crop of new trucks. Lately team mate Billy Fischer and I, have been running a set up that he came up with for the 8T. And it has been the best its ever been for me. (Thanks Billy for the hard work) Maybe we can get the set up posted somewhere for you guys.

I would like to thank Bill Fischer (SR) for coming out to the Pit, (even though Billy is racing on the other side of the country) to help me. He came out and took care of all of my pitting duties and was a huge help all day. No wonder Billy does so well with him there, he was lightning fast with the Losi fuel gun in the mains. So thanks Bill! You are surely an asset to Team Losi!

Next weekend I am off to Texas for a Toys for Tots race at Hals Hobbies. Hal's is one of Horizons oldest customers and I am looking forward to having a great time racing against Texas and New Mexico's finest racers.

Happy Racing!

Toys for Tots race this weekend!

Hello Losi fans!

Once again its time for the annual Toys for Tots race this coming weekend at the semi-lengendary Thunder Alley Raceway in Beaumont, CA. To better my chances of bringing home some hardware (bowling style trophy), I attended practice last night at Thunder Alley. Thanks to a recent mini monsoon, the dirt was perfect! A little loamy with a ton of grip! The "EBT" tire combo was really good! EBTs are a combination of Losi XBT's (red compound) in the front, and Losi Eclipses (red compound also) in the rear. My chassis set-up was the tried and true Drake set-up. Also in attendance were Kevin Gahan (Losi team manager) and The Drake. After some long motos, I felt really dialed, and prepared for my mid pack finish! Hope to see you all there this weekend!

Hobby Masters, Redding CA.

This past weekend I headed up north to another new track, Hobby Masters in Redding CA. It was an awesome track with good drivers stand, pit lane and really good dirt that was hard packed with a bit of small rock in it and high bite in most of the track. All the pit area was on pavement witch we all know is really nice. I raced both Buggy and Truggy, TQ'ed Buggy and 2nd in Truggy. In the Buggy main I pulled away from the field and a little over half a lap lead by the 7min mark (8ight 2.0 was amazing) and after my first pit stop I ended up breaking out, but the Truggy main everything stayed together and ran great to the finish winning by 2 laps. I had a great time at this new track and everyone there really appreciated me showing up and I will be back for a lot more track time! Hope to see everyone this weekend at the Toys for Tots race at Thunder Alley!

P.S. Also this past weekend John Scott (Team Losi driver) and two sportsman drivers won a 3hour enduro with a Losi 8ight 2.0 that was held at Central Valley Raceway in Madera, CA.

Congratulations!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I had a great relaxing time with my Wife Courtney and Daughters; Lily(4) and Shelby (18 months). Like Thrue stated, with the year coming to a close I am looking forward to a great new year.

The team for 09 looks stronger than ever and I for one can't wait. Good luck racing this weekend!

Holiday Time

This past weekend we had a pretty spread out good weekend of racing for Team Losi. I was in Boulder City Nevada for the Nevada State Championships while Billy Fischer was in Tucson for a race at Hobbytown and Adam was staying local holding it down at Revelation for the Kyosho race. This year has been a really exciting year and am kinda bummed and relieved at the same time that it is coming to a close. We have the upcoming toys for tots race at thunder alley in a few weeks for our final race of 2008 which should be a really fun race and for a good cause. Other than that we will just be practicing and testing at our local tracks to make everything that much better for the upcoming 2009 race season :) Hope to see everyone at the tracks and thanks again for all the support everyone gives to us. it really does mean alot.

Arizona Championship Series Rd. 2

This weekend was round number 2 of the ACS, this time in Tucson at Hobbytown USA. The facility isn't your normal cookie cutter nitro racing facility, but everybody seemed to adapt quite well. Race director Kenny Brosh once again ran a great program, and everyone was able to get home quite early even with 12 full heats.

When qualifying was over, the Expert Buggy class had myself as TQ, Casey Peck 2nd, and Ryan Maifield 3rd. I was able to capture the TQ in the Expert Truggy class as well. In the Intermediate Buggy class, it was once again Cody Rothe securing the TQ spot with his 8ight 2.0, just as he did in the first round of the series.

In the Expert Buggy main, I was able to hold off a hard-charging Ryan Maifield to take the win, with fellow Losi driver Chris Wheeler getting third just as he did in Round 1. Casey ended up having some technical difficulties, as did the Intermediate Buggy winner from the Sidewinder Nitro Explosion Mike Friery. In the Intermediate Buggy class it was Cody Rothe taking the win for the 2nd round in a row, and in the Intermediate Truggy class it was Verich Wright taking the win with his 8ight-T. In the Expert Truggy main event I had a problem while leading and it took me out of the race. Casey had some problems in qualifying, but managed to bump up from the B main to get 3rd overall.

It was a fun weekend for everyone, and very good showing once again for Team Losi. I'm already looking forward to the rest of this 7 race series!

JBRL Nitro Series

Last weekend was the final race of the JBRL Nitro Series at Hot Rod Hobbies. This was my first year running the complete JBRL series. I want to thank Jimmy Babcock and his crew for such a great series. It will be on my schedule again for 2009. The competition was awesome and the atmosphere was very relaxed and laid back. Now for some results, In the 1/8th Pro claas it was all Mike Truhe at the Finals. Mike TQ'ed and won the final. I finished second in both buggy and truggy. Kyle Johnson TQ'ed and won both 1/8th open buggy and 1/8th open truck. The series is eight races long and when the dust settled I was able to edge out Mike for the overall in the 1/8th Pro Buggy class. As a matter of fact Losi / GRP was able to win all 8ight races in the 1/8th Pro Buggy class. Kyle Johnson won the overall in both open classes.

Sidewinder @ Thunder Alley....

Hello everyone! After a couple weeks being back from the Sidewinder race I have had plenty of time to reflect on the trip. I had a blast! I arrived Thursday morning at Ontario just minutes from Losi/Horizon. The plan was to hit Revalations that night and Thunder Alley Fri-Sun. I got the chance to meet everyone at Losi and do some awesome racing with some of the best talent in the U.S.

After arriving to Thunder Alley it was clear that the crew put a lot of effort into the track layout and facility. It was a very tough, technical track with huge elevation changes. I was excited! In the end I bumped up through some lower mains and found myself with 12 fast guys all wanting a spot in the Amain. The new Losi 8 2.0 was great and handled the rough track easily. I worked into the lead and fought it out for a few laps only to fall a bit short in the end. Congrats to Matt Castellano for going to the Amain and the strong run by the rest of the Losi team mates!

After the trip I cam home with a little motivation and have been hitting my local tracks during the week for testing. After seeing the work ethic of everyone involved with Losi it just made sense and help push me. I'm glad I made the trip. Special Thanks to Adam and Ronda for having me out!

Next stop...Toys for Tots @ Thunder Alley!!

Hutchinson Fall Classic

Well the 2008 Hutchinson Fall Classic was 0nce again a blast! The race format was different than most electric races. Thursday and Friday were open practice and Saturday was a "stock day" where everyone races stock 2wd and stock truck. Myself and Dustin Evans competed in both stock classes using the Losi Xcelorin 13.5 motors. I experimented a bit with gearing and was very pleased with the performance of the motors. Dustin and I were able to use the horsepower to our advantage. I ended up TQ and winner of the Stock 2wd class and Dustin was TQ and winner of the Stock Truck class. It was a great showing for Losi and Xcelorin products. Sunday kicked off the modified classes where we competed in 2wd, 4wd, and truck. In 2wd modified Dustin was able to get around TQ Jared Tebo to take the win in the first two A mains. I had some electronic issues throughout qualifying and started 10th on the grid but made a hard charge in the mains to end up 3rd overall behind Evans and Tebo. The 4wd class was dominated from start to finish by Tebo while 2nd place went to Losi/Spektrum driver Matt Lee and I finished in 3rd. In the modified truck class Dustin was top qualifier and I would start 2nd. In the end I was able to take the overall win by clenching the A2 and A3 mains.

It was a great time and I am very happy that Losi/Xcelorin/Spektrum powered myself and Dustin to win 4 of the 5 classes at the Fall Classic :)

Hello Everyone! Last weekend was a blast out at the Sidewinder. My partner in crime and Super fast teammate Billy Fischer and I made a red eye trip out to Cali to put the 2.0 in action.

The Thunder Alley track proved to be a challenge, it really put my mind to the test. I ended up in the B main which was a true dogfight full of my Losi team mates. It was one of those mains that you come off the track happy no matter the out come. (of course I wanted to bump)

I am looking forward to this weekend as we have the second round of the ACS (Arizona Championship Series) as the reigning buggy Champ. This year is even tougher yet as everyone has stepped their game. With the 2.0 buggy and the Plus 4 engine combo I will give'er all she's got! Good luck racing

Clear Lake Thunder Valley

Hi everyone! Last weekend I posted that I was heading up North for a Truggy race in Clear lake. When I arrived I saw a big house on a huge piece of property with big red barns and one had a dirt oval in it. The track was pretty small with lots of natural seeping off camber turns and berms in every corner so you could just punch it all the way around if you wanted to, the dirt was awesome! It held the moisture very well due to it being a little sandy. My Buggy and Truggy felt really good and just before the quals started here came the rain and a couple minutes later it was pouring and they had to cancel the race. I was hoping to win that $200 so my son could eat...lol! I hope to head down south soon for some club racing.

P.S. I wanted to say great job to the team at the Sidewinder race. I wish I could have been there.

BACK FROM SIDEWINDER

Hi Everyone,
I'm back from Sidewinder and I have to say that Rob and Levi did a great job on the track. It was one of the best tracks that I have driven on in a long time. I will be heading back to the track with some of the team for some more practice on Tuesday.

The Losi team was on fire this weekend with Mike Friery winning Int. Buggy, Eddie Laret winning Int. Truggy with GRP tires. Adam Drake and Billy Fischer were flying in the 45min A-main to place 2nd and 3rd in Expert Truggy. In Expert Buggy Adam was the TQ but had a problem that took him out of the race while leading by 15 seconds. Mike Truhe had a problem but was able to charge back after being a lap and a half down to place 3rd, 15 seconds from the lead. Billy fischer placed 7th after a problem on the last lap. All in all, the team did great and I was happy to see everyone there. I would like to thank the whole Losi team for all their help this weekend.

Also a big thanks to Jimmy Babcock for a great race. (Keep up the good work Jimmy)

Dyno Dan's Pre-Sidewinder Report

Hey Losi Fans! This week is the Sidewinder Race at the semi legendary Thunder Alley in Beaumont, CA. Team Losi will be out in full force with alot of our team drivers coming in from out of town to participate. The weather looks good and I'm excited to see all of the new 2.0s in action. Todd Hodge and I commenced our pre-race thrash late last night trying our best to finish our cars. Hodge went with a Rockstar and was on a TQ wrenching pace. My 12 oz Mt. Dew just wasn't enough, and my bodily functions failed around midnight just before the shock rebuild.

It's gonna be a great race! Stop by the pits and check us out!

SIDEWINDER TOMORROW

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to let everyone know Losi will be heading out to Sidewinder tomorrow. The track should be great, Rob always builds a really good track. It should be a lot of fun with Billy Fishcer, Casey Peck, and Alan Burton making the trip out to join the rest of the Losi team. I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the race this weekend and if anyone needs any help with set-up don't hesitate to stop by the Losi tents.

Sidewinder Nitro Explosion

Hello everyone, myself and 13 or so other AZ residents are getting ready to depart to the Sidewinder Nitro Explosion in Beaumont, CA. This is the same facility that hosted the 2008 ROAR Buggy Nationals, Thunder Alley. I am very excited to go back to this awesome facility considering how the Buggy Nats went for me. I will be racing my 8ight 2.0 and my 8ight-T during this 2-day event. Although this is usually a medium sized race, there seems as though there will be more entries than in years past which will definitely make for an exciting weekend. All in all, it should turn out to be a fun weekend! Wish our team luck!

Season Coming To An End

What's up guys! sorry I took so long to get on here with my team. I have been doing a lot of local racing after the worlds and trying new things out at my track, Riverfront R/C. All I can say is that the new 8ight 2.0 is awesome and lots of local racers can't wait to get their hands on it. My new Novarossi Plus 4 Tuned engines that I have been running are great and can't wait for the 09' season to begin. This weekend I'm going to a new track up north with John Scott to check it out and show off the 8ight 2.0 and truggy. They are giving away $200 for the Pro Truggy win and hope I will take that home!
About a month ago Ronda and I got engaged to be married. The plan is for late summer of 2009. Last weekend week took engagement photos at Kimberly Crest House & Gardens. Jason Boulanger who you may all know from the JRBL Series was our photographer and Jason did an amazing job.

This weekend is the Sidewinder Nitro Explosion at Thunder Alley Raceway. I'm picking up Alan Burton (from Alabama) at the airport tomorrow morning. Alan and I are going to do a little testing at Revelation Raceway tomorrow night and then we will be at Thunder Alley the rest of the weekend. Should be a great time.

Have a Great Weekend!
Adam

Fall Racing

After just getting back from the reedy truck race, it is time to get ready for the Fall Classic in Hutchinson, Kansas. The Fall classic is one of my favorite regional races, great track, good people, and tons of fun. It is also unique because they run stock on saturday and modified on sunday, this encourages everyone to race stock, and creates some of the tightest racing around. This week will be full of practicing and preperation for next weeks race. Till we get back, good luck racing.
Dustin Evans

On to the next one!

Well I've been home for a week now from the Reedy Truck Race. I had a really good time at the race. I was very happy with how my XXX-Tcr performed on the track. It was very stable and had consistent traction throughout the changing traction levels. I also really enjoyed running my 8ight-T on Hot Rod Hobbies track. Initially I thought it might not be much fun to run a big truggy on such a tight track but it made for some very close racing. I broke in a brand new .21 GRP for the race and it ran awesome! I am a little disappointed now to be back home in CO because our gas season is over and I won't be able to run my 8ight-T until 2009. Luckily though I will have more than enough opportunities to race electric indoor (my favorite :) in the upcoming months. Dustin and myself will be heading to the Hutchinson Fall Classic next weekend at Hi-Performance Hobbies in Hutchinson, KS. Although this is a smaller event it is one of my favorite races of the year. The track is a good size with awesome clay. Plus the locals are always very fast. Should be a good time and I will update with results after the race.

Reedy Truck Race

Hello all. Its been an exciting summer race season for myself and Losi. It is coming to a close for this "race season". this past weekend we competed in the Reedy Truck Race of Champions held at Hot Rod Hobbies. It is a very small tight track so you can say very unconventional for the truggies. In the Sportsman truggy class up and coming Losi driver Kyle Johnson put on a clinic top qualifying and than winning the main by a few laps ahead of second place. In the factory Truggy class we had a good showing with 3 out of the top 5 trucks in qualifying (Billy Fischer, myself and Dustin Evans) and one more addition with Clint Wachter bumping into the final after a very exciting B-main. The main was probably one of the most mentally demanding finals i have run in with the lap times being 15 seconds that meant we were gonna run 160 plus laps in the final. It seemed like you were in traffic for the entire 45 minutes. Billy Fischer had an awesome truck all weekend and in the final it looked like it was gonna prove itself as shortly after the first fuel stop he had passed cavalieri and started pulling away. traffic and some unfortunate bobbles let cavalieri by and held a charging Fischer off with Billy getting second. I ended up finishing 4th. In the Modified Truck class Dustin Evans, Matt Chambers and myself made the main but could never get to the front in the finals to contend for the win but in the end we were all really happy with our trucks and our Losi Xcelorin brushless systems. Everyones stuff ran flawless all weekend with no problems. It was a pretty good weekend all and all. We have a few more races this year with the Sidewinder race and the JBRL final next month which has been a very fun and exciting series with Adam Drake and myself battling for the series with Adam clinching the series by a point going into the final with 5 good points already :) Until next time happy racing.

Xcelorin motor sets world record in R/C drag racing!

This morning, Losi welcomed three R/C drag racers from the Miniature Hot Rod Association to our office. Mike Smith (kneeling in picture) is holding Randy Spiering's world record-setting funny car. Using a Losi Xcelorin 6400Kv motor, Randy covered the scale 1/4 mile (132') in 1.54 seconds @84.1MPH to set the new record last weekend in Texas. Gary Kirkpatrick (left) is holding a fueler that runs in the 2 second (70MPH) bracket class and features an Xcelorin motor as well. Jim Schauer (right) is holding a top fuel dragster that runs on a 3S LiPo and covers the scale 1/4 mile in 1.41 seconds @96MPH. Losi electronics product manager Ron Schuur (center) provided some new "secret" developments for the guys to try at their next race. 2008 Off -Road Expo

Losi and Pacific Coast Hobbies teamed up over the past weekend to exhibit at the largest 1:1 scale off-road and rock crawling show in the country held in Pomona, CA. Thousands of off-road and crawling enthusiasts packed the LA County Fairgrounds over the three days to see the latest tire, suspension, accessory and vehicle developments in this incredibly popular segment. The Losi display was busy throughout the entire weekend, as our 1/18 Mini-Rock Crawler gathered lots of attention on our demo track, and there was a consistent line of people waiting their turn for a test drive.

Nicole Johnson, one of the most popular 1:1 rock crawling drivers, visited our booth to try a Losi 1/18 crawler and drew quite a crowd. Being part of this exciting show opened many doors for us to connect with new and existing Losi customers and we look forward to attending the Spring Off-Road Expo in March, 2009.

2008 Worlds-the day after

As drivers and their teams pack up to return home this morning, I've had the chance to reflect on what was really a great week here at the 2008 Worlds. No, we didn't win but I still feel a sense of pride in the TQ and 2nd place finish earned by Mike Truhe and the overall results from our entire Losi team. So many people dedicated so much time in preparation for this event. The efforts of the drivers, mechanics and helpers are plainly visible for all to see, but what isn't as noticable (yet is arguably the MOST important) is the work of the engineers, designers, project managers, marketing professionals and everyone "behind the scenes" at Losi that together form the key components of the division. Racing is just a part of what we do, but this event encouraged me from the opportunity to meet so many fans of the Losi brand and watch them interact with our drivers, mechanics and staff. Now, it's time to reflect on what we were able to accomplish on the track, discuss and strategize ways to improve the areas where we need to get better, and get back to designing, producing and marketing the products that our customers want to buy.

Prior to saying goodbye I would like to again add my sincere thanks to the entire Losi team who attended the 2008 IFMAR 1/8 World Championships for being such a talented group of individuals that come together as one toward a common goal.

See you next time......

Atsushi Hara is World Champion!

In the hour-long A final the Hot Bodies D8 of Atsushi Hara won by 1.6 seconds over the Losi 8ight 2.0 of Mike Truhe. Savoya from France was third in a Mugen MBX-6. Congratulations to Hot Bodies and Hara, and of course to Mike for his fine second place finish and TQ. The entire Losi team did a great job today and all week, and I enjoyed being able to describe to you what was going on here. This event was truly amazing in the level of commitment from all major manufacturers, the talent of the drivers and great event organization. It was great to take part in such a well run and enjoyable race.
